MALB Honors 2025 Season’s Best With Annual Awards and All-Star Team Selections
As the 2025 season comes to a close, the Mid-America League proudly announces it’s annual awards and All-Star selections recognizing the league’s standout players, pitchers, and leadership from an exciting season of competition.
2025 MALB Award Winners:
MVP — Murchael Turner, Joplin Outlaws
Turner had a season to remember, posting a .347 average with 10 home runs, 51 RBIs, and 27 stolen bases. He led the league in home runs and RBIs while finishing second in batting average.
CY Young — Emir Endcalada Jr., Abilene Flying Bison
Endcalada delivered on the mound with a 6-3 record, 4.15 ERA, and 61 strikeouts. He led the league in wins and finished second in strikeouts, cementing himself as the league’s top arm.
Fireman of the Year — Marcus Young, Joplin Outlaws
Young was lights out in relief, earning a league-record 6 saves with a 1.42 ERA, 34 strikeouts, and a 1.04 WHIP.
Gold Glove — Drue Saenz, Sherman Shadowcats
Behind the plate, Saenz was exceptional defensively with a .919 fielding percentage, a 30.4% caught stealing rate, and 172 putouts.
Manager of the Year — Dean Green, Joplin Outlaws
Green guided the Outlaws to a historic 47-15 record, setting league records for both wins and winning percentage (.758).
